The people with whom I exchange letters are like "homes" to me, shaping my identity and nurturing me. In this work, I explore the connection between "letters" and "home," not just as a physical space, but as an environment, people, or even writings that have shaped me.

Whisper from Seoul
2024
The inspiration for this work comes from the myths recorded during the Joseon Dynasty, the historical ancestors of Korea. Based on an in-depth exploration of Korean history, I brought to life various historical figures, ghosts, gods, and mythical beings—found only in written records and reimagined them as a visual narrative.

Narcissism
2024

Excessive thinking can lead not only to perfectionism but also to narcissism. During a time when I was consumed by perfectionism, I was reminded of the myth of Narcissus from Greek mythology. In the myth, Narcissus' narcissism goes beyond simple self-love, evolving into an obsessive perfectionism that ultimately leads to his self-destruction. Initially, his image is just alluring, but as unrealistic expectations and pressures about his identity build, he begins to crumble. Through three symbolic scenes, this work conveys a warning about how destructive excessive perfectionism can be.

Everybody
2023
Just because everyone is on the same path doesn't mean it's the right path. Everyone has their own path. The lives of these individuals branched out in different directions and became a community in a pattern.
Everyone in the pattern has their own unique color, but the pattern is a representation of how the different colors of different people blend.
